HikingGreat!

Very peaceful. I didn't see a soul on this chilly day. I stayed on the blue trail both ways because I wanted to stay closer to the water. The view must be obstructed in the summer, but it's a beautiful walk along the river when the trees are bare. The Delaware is at times quiet and at times a little impetuous.

Well maintained with very few rocks and roots considering the area. Great views of and proximity to the Delaware.

A cool, easy walk by the Delaware. The dog loved a stop to pop in the water in a spot that was relatively calm. Definitely wear your bug repellent- the mosquitos are fierce if you aren’t moving fast enough. Entertaining to walk right up to the nuclear power plant- you can hear it humming well before you see it. Hoping the dog doesn’t grow and extra tail now!

HikingGreat!

Definitely recommend this hike. The trail markings are a bit confusing. I would suggest taking the red trail out to Cedar Pavilion and the blue trail back. The red tail is more open, so it may not be the best in a hot sunny day, but it is great for birding. The blue trail requires sure footing but is nice and shady. It goes along the River and you can feel the cooler air from the water. There is a pot-a-potty at the trail head. Check for ticks!

the trail was well marked and pretty easy if there was not 6" of snow. I am glad I bought my poles.

Beautiful view of the river! I should’ve worn hiking boots instead of sneakers. Little more challenging because of the wet leaves. Lots and lots of ticks. Please protect yourselves! We found at least 15 text on my dog at the end.

Nice trail along the water ,very well maintained. If you do all 3 trails you could easily cover 7 miles. Only saw 2 people and their doggie.

Very nice trail. Well maintained and marked well. I was expecting it to be more overgrown than it was the southern side of the trail closest to the power plant was a little narrower on the trails but still well-maintained. Lots to see on this trail, from plants to wildlife and the Delaware River. Very nice welcome center on the North end. Plenty of parking in both north and south lots.

Well shaded easy trail, 5 miles out and back easily done with my yorkie. Well marked trail options. Not too buggy, even on the parts right next to the river. Sweet summer smell of honeysuckle is everywhere!

We really enjoyed our hike at Martins Creek. The trails were easy to follow and well maintained. There are a few paths leading down to the river. We did 4.4 miles that was not necessarily difficult but still a good work out.. Would definitely visit again

4 stars instead of 5 because there is a ton of poison ivy on the southern portion of the trail where it's barely the width of your feet. You have to be super careful to not have it grazing your ankles. Otherwise, 5 stars! Great trail with wonderful River views and access points.
