The reservoirs and trees here are pretty. This route has a very nice walk on a wide paved path. There are plenty of shaded picnic tables with charcoal grills, playground equipment, and bathrooms. Fishing is allowed with a permit and the waters are stocked with farmed trout. It is good for families with kids and older adults. It's next to General William J. Airfield so there’s a potential to see some cool planes. Accessibility: There are 6 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of William J Barnes Avenue at the southwest end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved asphalt or concrete and smooth. It is typically at least 8 feet wide. The whole trail is estimated to be in the flat (1% or less) grade category. This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting. Show more
